Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black is a premium all-black version of Noctua’s award-winning flagship cooler, combining top-tier cooling performance with stealthy aesthetics. Built on the proven dual-tower, dual-fan design of the original NH-D15, this Chromax.black edition delivers the same elite thermal performance in a sleek matte-black finish — perfect for black-themed builds.

Compatible with a wide range of modern sockets, including Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, and AMD AM5 and AM4, the NH-D15 Chromax Black ships with the SecuFirm2™ mounting system for reliable, easy installation. All coolers purchased since Q4 2021 include updated mounting hardware out of the box.

The cooler features a pair of Noctua NF-A15 HS-PWM Chromax.black 140mm fans, delivering high airflow up to 140.2 m³/h while maintaining whisper-quiet operation at just 24.6 dB(A). Using the included Low-Noise Adapters (L.N.A.), you can reduce max fan speed to 1200 RPM for even quieter performance. The fans use Noctua’s premium SSO2 bearings and are rated for over 150,000 hours of MTTF.

The dual-tower heatsink is constructed from copper heat pipes, a nickel-plated base, and aluminum cooling fins, all finished in black for a uniform look. Despite its powerful performance, the NH-D15 maintains compatibility with most full-size cases — though users should confirm 165mm height clearance before installation.

The cooler includes Noctua’s NT-H1 thermal compound, a black Noctua case badge, and a full set of mounting accessories. Backed by a 1-year warranty, the NH-D15 Chromax Black is perfect for high-performance systems where both looks and low thermals matter.
